External Wastegates

Does it make any difference whether you have a wastegate in the manifold or in the O2 housing, performance wise?

having a external wastegate helps get rid of boost creep to a unwanted boost level. my car is tunned for 25psi if it creep to 28-30 BOOM! haha

I've heard conflicting information about this subject.. from what I've gathered it's best to place it on the collector of the manifold, #1 runner placements are good enough for most people (not having to evacuate more than 25% of your exhaust) and o2 mounts are not much better than an internal gate until you port the shit out of your turbo's wastegate passage, though more people seem to be going o2 mount over #1 runner these days.

yeah, I was going to buy a manifold with the wastegate in the collector anyway, so that sounds good
