1st wash at the new place :)
« on: July 15, 2008, 07:04:50 pm »
The Bf and I just moved to Sicamous and to mark the occasion, I thought I'd post some pics. The '91 Talon (gsx conversion) is Mitch Delmer's, and the 93' Talon is mine. :)

And yes, everytime I look at his car I turn a little green.

Thanks Brett.

My car (Red) is stock. Little 14b that fricken wails, stock side mount, upper hardpiping, Evo3 Mani, hacked airbox and custom 3'' exhaust thanks to Mitch. (Yes he's the bf.) Plus a very nice chip. So, the very basic upgrades. Got a small 16g to go on if I ever get an fmic..... but the Super Side mounts are so light!   ;) Hah. We'll see though. I'm pretty happy with my little turbo.

Mitch is too busy for his own good these days. He's moved from cars to Turbo Sleds. (He fricken turbo's everything. Including our quad. And Lawnmower. It's a little ridiculous.)

He's currently running a Garrett Ballbearing turbo (He won't let me tell you what size ::)) on his built motor. Cyclone Manifold (expected to crack)... Custom chip to go with his eprom, hks bov, Gm MAFT setup, His own FMIC, 3'' exhaust with a straight through muffler, AEM Wideband, SAFC... Forgive my lack of knowlege. He rattled off a list to me the other day and I can hardly remember any of it. He still figures his car will run 11's (though that was two setups and two years ago), but next time he goes to the track he's trying for 10s and then he's planning on selling it. We'll see how that goes. The "Snyper" needs a tranny rebuild and a scheduled head rebuild any day now. Bigger turbo to go on soon! Major upgrades hopefully to happen next Spring.

Maybe I'll grab an Engine Bay pic.

Really? Cause it's actually pretty dirty in there. Even saw a couple spiders.

Not a bad guess though.

You should see the thing it's almost useless up the hill. Pulls the tires to 5th gear on Pavement and 4th on Gravel. Really cool... but I miss dirt riding.

It has a whistle. Mitch fabbed one up. It's so loud too. And it really looked better before it rolled. It's taken a lot of abuse. I agree it needs better paint but at the same time it's kinda funny when your camping and people hear you comming down the road the dirt road from way off and think you're a Powerstroke Diesel with a loud bov.

On that particular occasion it was more like watch it hack nuts and then avoid the spray.
