That is the reason i decided NOT to go with a 2G trans for my colt.   Sure it may bolt up easier... but its way harder to find 2G trannys for cheap compared to 1G trannys.

Once its done I will be taking it to RG, so if u mainlanders want to see it you will have to come out to the dyno to take a look, or get your asses to the island, haha.

I neeeed to find a trans, does anyone know what happened to Derek Fung?   I dont want to have to take apart the trans to be able to bolt up the bell housing just so I can get it running.  Also don't want to spend 3g on a shep trans, but if it comes down to it I guess I will have to bite the bullet.

you can get the car running without the trans bolted to it..

Just bolt up the starter with nuts/bolts and then it will start right up.  Just dont stick your hands near the flywheel!! and also make sure the flywheel bolts are tightend down to spec!

Bolted the turbo up to make sure everything will fit.  Denting of the water pipe not required.

Yea thats the beauty of the FP manifold, its cants the turbo forward.

PS its easier to remove that nipple on the compressor cover now and put in a plug.  Its 1/4 pipe thread.  Your boost controller will work better off the intake manifold.  I could not make more than 14psi no matter what I did, but after that was changed it makes all I need.
