From what I understand about running a smaller pump in the tank is that it will be a restriction as the larger inline will be trying to suck more than the smaller one is supplying.

A single Areomotive A1000 would be more than sufficient for my setup I believe.  Or Dual wallys intank, this setup with a full blown hanger is more expensive than the A1000, hmmm.
