yea, I have looked at those ones. Looks like the cheapest ones are offered by AEM. They are black plastic, and only cost around 18bux.

Update :

When I last spoke to " Tim " at Surrey Fluid Power, He told me that they have the ability to make any check valve. With the pressures that were interested in  (10-20psi cracking pressure)      the check valve would cost roughly 60 bux.  This is pricey, but the fact that you have the ability to fully customize the cracking pressure, it may prove beneficial to go this method with certain meth setups. (long lines etc)

Next time I go back, Ill be looking into methanol compatible filters from either SMC or another make. Ill post the details and pricing if I get one.

hrmmm..

I have found that the AEM kits are decently priced (sort of) and Have EVERYTHING you need besides maybe a extra nozzle body. Also they feature a progressive controller with its own MAP sensor and LED warning lights etc etc

haha funny story... my aem meth kit warning lights was the first thing to let me know that the alternator was crapped out and making 16+ volts!!!

I like Colts.  Turbo Colts.

Lol  probably lit up the whole cockpit with 16v's running throught it    :D

As far as check valves go, I managed to get 2 AEM 15psi checks at 17bux each from ebay. Shipping costed a whopping 30bux. So I requested they get sent UPS. Still took weeks to get.

I would stick to push lock fitting style connectors.  That check uses hosetail barbs.  Ide recommend the ones I got (aem plastic pushlock) Or the stainless ones (pushlock aswell)

Jo those are what I use. Works great.  No issues whatsoever with the hose tail stuff.  All the other aquamist nozzles etc are hosetail and I have never had an issue at all.  Can't say the same for push locks.  mostly good, but I have seen a few issues with leakage.

lol!  it happens after youve been on it a while.  atleast we dont pick at our face    :D

Ive never seen any other method of running meth lines, other than the nylon tubing and push lock fittings.  What kind of tubing do u peeps use with barb fittings?     Ive only ever had a swivel 90 push fitting leak before. The straight fittings have always sealed awsome for me.

On the subject of leaks, check the fittings in the meth pump.(in/out)
I had a loose one for awhile before it was discovered. Speaking of paranoia, I was going through so much meth I started to wonder if someone was taking it for joyrides without my knowledge. :D
