RG Racing Dyno Day
« on: March 19, 2017, 12:48:03 am »
Date: 30 April 2017
Time: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
Place: #110 - 1650 Broadway Street, Port Coquitlam, British Columbia V3C 2M8

Anyone here want to baseline their DSM? If so, then here's a good enough excuse to get together and bs, erm, "listen to advice from the errors others have made while eating hot dogs". :)

Quote from Facebook post, "RG will be having its first dyno day of 2017 on april 30th. Dyno pulls will be $60 a vehicle. We will have food and drinks available for attendees. There will be trophies for the first time ever for winners in each class, i will post more class information within the week."

Lowell Foo has been racing DSMs for years and this is his shop. http://www.racinggreed.com/

So who's in?

I haven't been around in a while..a few years actually so i dont always know whats going on anymore. Wow, Lowell owns RG now? I thought Tommy owned it with another partner.

You're probably correct Ryan. I meant this is where Lowell works. :)

RWD welcome?

Yes. I'm bringing my Chevy as my DSM's exhaust needs doing. Other priorities have taken my cash :(

Putting this out there:

What if we meetup at Tim Horton's - Coast Meridian Overpass at Lougheed Highway? There's space to park and grab a coffee, plus, it's just North of RG.

How does 11:30Am at the Tim's sound?

This sounds good.... I am most likely working that day but I would sure like to get in on it if I can.
Guess we'll see how it goes.

Current projects:  1992 Laser RS AWD - daily summer
1995 Talon Tsi AWD - daily winter
1989 2000GTX FWD - not sure where this is going yet
1991 Talon Tsi AWD - soon to be organ donor

Looks like 11:30AM at Tim's it will be, then we go South a few long blocks to "Lowell's Shop, which really, his name may or may not be on the incorporation documents, but this is still his shop in Tony's opinion" Racing Greed.

See you there :)

I saw a sliver DSM go through Tim's parking lot, but did not flag him down in time. Saw another, or same, DSM again at Lowell's, but the DSM was heading out (and I had my head too close to the Mustang Dyno and was disoriented :) ).

Apologies for missing you silver DSM. Aria and I were in the black, convertible 2G. Lorenzo with his white & black hooded 2G (sweet). Sy Haw was in his FRS.

Great weather too. Sunny & cool enough to keep from sweating buckets, but warm enough to walk around in a T-Shirt to gawk at all the rides.

I enjoyed myself. Love the sound of cars running flat out to get heir HP/Torq numbers. :)

Thanks RG for hosting!
