I am wanting to gather a Database of Island member's email addresses. I know there are now quite a few and I would like to try to organize some better island meets this Spring and Summer.

If you are an Island member or if you know an island member that may be interested please PM me your/their email address and general location on the island.

Thanks for the help! 8)


Mods - I want to leave this as sticky for a while because many of the Island guys are not active posters.

No prob ... gotta support our non GVRD members!

But don't be surprised if the stickness of this post wears off 5mo down the road due to dust and mothballs...

If it weren't for the cost of the damn Ferry, I'd actually like to see the GVRD meets make a rip over to the island and meet up with you guys in a central area, like Nanaimo or Parksville. Hell, I'd love to make the trip to Ucluelet/Tofino again - that's one DAMN fun road!  Heh - immagine seein 20 to 30 DSM's on one entire deck of a ferry ... with a lawnmower stuck in the middle.  muaahahahaha!!!!  :twisted: Sink or swim biatch!

Thanks Andrew,

I was not thinking of leaving it sticky for anywhere near that long though.

I have several contacts within BC-Ferries and will be looking into getting some discount tickets in case any of you guys want to come over for Sandcastle weekend or other meets this summer or for us to come there for FVT. Probably only be a $10 savings each way, but hey $10 is at least somthing. :laugh:

Well, i'm originally from the island, does that count?   :D

I had to move away to work for awhile, but i plan on coming back.  anyways,  I will be making an appearance in June, so if you wanted to set up a meet sometime around then, i'd love to come.

Hah,  :oops:  takes me a month to reply to my own post. Shows how often I come in the Meeting room. Also underlines my reason for a mailing list. Of course James just send me your email address and I'll throw you on. I haven't had time to start planning anything yet though. I might send out an email soon to gather ideas.
