HELP!

i am trying to replace the seal where the shifter linkage goes into the tranny, 1g FWD manual, i have the tranny apart, there are two pins in the shaft, one is a easy roll pin, the other is a solid pin which i cant get out! The arm that attaches to the shaft also looks like it has on of these types of pins, but will also not come out..anyone replaced this seal before?
